The Artisanal Biscotti Package Design has received an American Graphic Design Award for its Package and Label Design from Graphic Design USA.

Noteworthy: This is the 3rd Annual Edition of The Biscotti Holiday Gift Box. New Announcement: The Etsy Shop I’m pleased to announce that I’ve been developing an online shop for new products I’m working on, which to start, will offer a collection of Mindful Greeting Cards. These aren’t just any cards; they are thoughtfully crafted pieces of art that create connection for both the sender and the receiver. Each design tells a story and carries a deeper message meant to uplift, enhance, and fortify. Many people who give the Biscotti Gift Boxes, or other baked goods, love having a special, thoughtful card to give with their gift, and also love to give a box of cards that adds a little extra delight to the art of gift giving. The Biscotti are now available in a new Holiday Gift Box. Last year’s version The Biscotti Gift Box Packaging: Savor the Season was a hit with everyone, and I’m glad to continue this series.

The Gift Box is a 12 x 7 kraft box with a lid. The box is meant to be reusable; on the inside lid, I’ve suggested a few ideas and ways to creatively keep using it.

The package comes wrapped with an elegant organza ribbon and a blank hangtag so you can handwrite a personal little note to the recipient.

The Box includes:

1 Dozen freshly baked Artisanal Organic, Gluten Free Biscotti nestled in the middle of the box

1 Special Collector’s Bookmark

1 Greeting Card (which is the title piece from the *The Athene Collection of Greeting Cards, ‘Let It Unfold’*.

*This series of Greeting Cards has received an American Graphic Design Award for Greeting Card Design this year.

 

 

This project is printed and produced in the studio. It can be a local pick up or it can be shipped.

As a Creative Director (for the last 31 years) I have the joyful opportunity to bring products, publications, and brands to life through thoughtful and engaging design that gets noticed and generates results. I’ve been designing and developing a new line of artisanal, organic, and gluten-free baked goods, and creating a visual identity that reflects the artisanal, high quality of the products. The highlight of this project is undoubtedly the signature product – the Artisanal Biscotti, which are lovingly handcrafted –and which receive as much love as they give.

Designing, printing, and producing the 3rd Annual Biscotti Holiday Gift Box in my studio has been quite rewarding. The Gift Box is a reusable kraft box with a lid, which not only enhances the tactile qualities involved here but also emphasizes sustainability — a value that is always appreciated. In a world focused on environmental consciousness, creating packaging that can be reused or repurposed is a vital consideration. The kraft texture enhances the artisan concept and ensures the gift box leaves a lasting impression.

Included in the box is a Collector’s Edition Bookmark, and a Greeting Card from my recently launched line of Mindful Greeting Cards – now available on Etsy (MindfulGoodsGifts). These add a few extra layers of delight to the gift, allowing recipients to not only enjoy the delicious Biscotti but also savor a deeper message that is as fortifying as the Biscotti. The combination of the bookmark and greeting card creates a holistic gifting experience that encourages connection and reflection, aligning perfectly with my values.

Creating a visual identity for a product line involves understanding the true essence of the offerings and creating a soulful experience that resonates. The typography, palette, and textures must naturally unite and harmonize, serving crucial roles in telling the story and representing values. The artisanal, high quality craftsmanship, and the organic ingredients that go into each handmade batch of Biscotti – is matched with the high quality craftsmanship of this intricate production.
